Majority of schools in Hadleigh closed because of strikes

On Wednesday (November 30) the majority of schools in Hadleigh and many in Ipswich will be closed because of industrial action by teachers.

St Mary's School in Hadleigh will be closed on Wednesday

Primary schools
Teachers at Beaumont CP School, Hadleigh CP School and St Mary's CEVAP school will be striking and all three schools will be closed.
Hadleigh High School
As things stand Hadleigh High School in Highlands Road will be open to all years on Wednesday. There is obviously a possibility this could change. To check for the latest information please visit the Suffolk County Council website.
Brett River Children's Centre
According to the latest information given to Hadleigh People the Brett River Children's Centre, situated in the Hadleigh Health Centre will be open on Wednesday.
Parents are understandably concerned about the strikes as many will have to take a day of work or make alternative childcare arrangements.
