Ridgeons League Cup

Unfortunately I haven't got the score wrong.  We were on the wrong end of a serious hiding on Tuesday night in the Ridgeons League Cup. 

We were never in the game at any point which is very disappointing.  We are so inconsistent at the minute but I really believe if we can get consistent team, avoiding injuries I really feel we can rise up the league very quickly.  We conceded a second goal just on the stroke of half time and two more very quickly after the break.  

Our consolation goal was scored by Kris Rose who half volleyed in from the edge of the box but the final score ended six one. 

We will have a lot of critics at the minute and that is understandable, however from a player's point of view I can see we have a great squad and a great team.  We all need to stick together and try and get on a good run.

The team needs all the support we can possibly get at the minute as it only takes a couple of wins to fly up the league.  As we saw from the Ely game they are currently the yard stick as they have gone fourteen games unbeaten and I really thought we should have won that game. 

So I really believe on our day we are one of the best teams in the league and we need a run a form to get us going.
