Babergh District Council's ASB team have come up with an idea to stop any problems with anti-social behaviour in the Hadleigh area.

Does Hadleigh have a problem with anti-social behaviour?
Young people in Hadleigh that are caught committing anti-social behaviour will have to watch a DVD which will show them how their actions can impact on their victims.
The DVD titled Behind the Broken Mirror will show how victims can be targeted. One family will talk about how they were verbally abused and had a firework posted through their letter box.
Sally Watson, Babergh District Council's Anti-Social Behaviour Network officer came up with the idea of the Behind the Broken Mirror DVD. She said: "I interview more than 70 perpetrators of anti-social behaviour every year.
"The victims have been very brave speaking out about their experiences but wanted to do something to prevent others going through the trauma they had been through."
The DVD will be shown to youngsters and their parents when they are interviewed at Hadleigh police station regarding anti-social behaviour issues. It will also be shown at local schools in the area.
PC Verity Pearson from the Sudbury and Great Cornard Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "I believe this is a truly powerful film and has even made me personally review my policing methods in relation to these events."
The idea of the DVD is likely to cause controversy in Hadleigh. Do you think Hadleigh has a problem with anti-social behaviour and underage drinkers?
Comments
This is a load of rubbish. I am sure it is a well produced DVD and I feel very sorry for the victims but these criminals have too much of an attitude problem to listen to what is being said.
