Christmas Light Switch on and Late Night Shopping Hadleigh

This year Hadleigh People is proud to be one of the sponsors of the Hadleigh Lighting up Ceremony, read on for our guide to Christmas in our town.

Christmas light switch on Hadleigh

The Hadleigh Christmas Light Switch on is all set to take place on Sunday December 4 between the hours of 3pm – 6pm.  Performing at the lighting up ceremony will be the winners of this year's Hadleigh's Got Talent which you can see a picture of above.

Entertainment will also be provided by the Ipswich and Norwich Co-op band and the Diamond Lites Majorettes.

On the Hadleigh Entertainment Comittee Website you can see video footage of last year's Christmas light switch on which will give you a taste of what to expect.

Shopping opportunities

On the night of the Hadleigh Christmas Light Switch on there will be stalls in the Ansell Centre and there will also be some outside as well. This is a good opportunity for picking up some Christmas gifts.

Children's entertainment

Thanks to the Hadleigh Rotary Club there will be a Santa on hand to hear what your children want for Christmas. There will also be a fun fair which is sure to keep them entertained.

Food and refreshments

The Hadleigh Scout group will be keeping warm as they cook food on a BBQ. Donuts will also be on sale.

Hadleigh Late Night Shopping

As we always say here on Hadleigh People our town is lucky to have a wide selection of unique shops. We think it would be great if there was a regular late night shopping night, each week, in the run up to Christmas. What do you think of this idea?
